::Team Emmett:: Twilight's Kellan Lutz at Sunbar in Borgata Sunday

Twilight fans in the Atlantic City area have the opportunity to see the gorgeous Kellan Lutz up close tomorrow night. He will host Social Sundays at the Sunbar in the Borgata. A specific time for his visit was not announced, but it will most likely be between 7 and 10 pm.

This poolside bar area is in the Water Club and provides a chilled-out, relaxed experience with table service and hot DJs. A menu with apps and desserts is available as is bottle service.

The party begins at 7pm, but you can extend your night by heading to MIXX after 10pm for music spun by Solange Knowles and Carlos Melange.

The atmosphere at MIXX is a little more high-energy, so be prepared to dance in the work week. Table and bottle service are available at this location, as well.

Admission covers both parties.

::Team Jasper:: Jackson Rathbone is dying to play ‘The Riddler’

The Twilight star tells us about his next projects – and what roles he’s dying to play!

Nothing is official until you sign on the dotted line, which is why Joseph Gordon-Levitt might need to do some serious campaigning for the role of The Riddler in director Christopher Nolan’s next Batman film. Twilight hunk Jackson Rathbone confides that he’d love to play the part – and we think he’d be perfect!

“Are you kidding me? I would do that at the drop of a hat!” the 25-year-old actor told exclusively at Melanie Segal’s T.J. Maxx-sponsored Celebrity Retreat August 5. “I’m not going to take my hat off now,” he joked, “but that would be awesome. That is the kind of role I like. I like character parts.”

Sorry BFFs, but this means you’ll never see Jackson playing a romantic lead like his Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson! “The only roles I don’t like are the romantic leading man parts,” he said. “You know, at the end of the day, I like playing the stranger character. I like playing to the extremes of the human psyche and like to expand myself through art.”

Currently, his arty plans include directing and performing with his band, 100 Monkeys. “[My band] worked on the score for a movie I am doing called Girlfriend,” he told us, adding, “I also acted in it. I also plan on directing a short film that wrote that I will be filming next year.”

Although he has all these new plans, Jackson isn’t going to forget the series that made him a household name! In fact, he even tells us that he’d like his Twilight character, Jasper Hale, get his own movie! “I’d like to see Twilight Origins: the Jasper Story!” he declared. “That is is what I am pitching. I want to get back to the civil war vampire army mode. That was so much fun to film in Eclipse. It will be very sad because every time we get to film another Twilight film, it’s honestly a family reunion. I’ve grown up with all these actors, as artists and as people. It is so lovely to see all their careers take off and they all deserve it. I am blessed to be one of them.”

::Team Edward:: Robert Pattinson Plays Intimate Gig

The Twilight hunk played guitar & sang some of his new material...

Robert Pattinson has played an intimate gig, showcasing some if his own songs.

The Twilight actor, who has always been very vocal about his love of music performed as part of the Songs From A Room project which organises up-and-coming musicians to perform and uploads the footage online.

Pattinson has previously spoken about his love of music, telling "Music is my back-up plan if acting fails. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket,"

"I kind of want to do [an album] at the end of the year - all my friends are recording albums and I'm very annoyed about it, but I can't do two things at once."

He added: "I don't know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and also sing. I'm just like, 'I can't'. But, hopefully, I'll find some time to get it together."

R-Pattz, who is reportedly thinking about quitting Hollywood with his rumoured lover and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart also had some of his own material featured on some film soundtracks, including Twilight itself.

The Songs From A Room project has previously attracted other high-profile names, including band the Magic Numbers.

::Team Baby:: 'Twilight' spawns baby Bellas, Cullens and Jaspers

You can watch the "Twilight" movies and read the books, but why stop there?

Thousands of Americans are giving their babies "Twilight"-related names.

Bella, the name of the lovesick heroine of Stephenie Meyer's vampire novels, hadn't quite cracked the Social Security Administration's list of the top 200 girls' names in America when the first "Twilight" book was published in 2005. Today, it's at No. 58, higher than Miley, Kingston or Maddox. Cullen, the last name of Bella's vampire beau, Edward, is in the top 500 boys' names for the first time in more than a century.

A total of 8,171 U.S. babies received key "Twilight" names (Bella, Cullen, Jasper, Alice or Emmett) in 2009, compared with 3,516 in 2005.
"This is actually a big deal in the baby name landscape," says Laura Wattenberg, creator of

"The interesting thing is, this follows perfectly in a tradition" of naming trends stemming from shows with supernatural themes, Wattenberg says. "The TV show 'Bewitched' had a huge effect. 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' -- huge effect. Even the TV shows that didn't become such big cultural phenomena like 'Charmed' spawned hit baby names."

Yes, she did say "Charmed." The show's heroines include Piper, a good witch with great hair portrayed by Holly Marie Combs.

When the show debuted in 1998, Piper wasn't even in the top 1,000 girls' names in the U.S. The next year, it appeared at No. 700; now it's at No. 147.

"Piper is an interesting one because it really is an example of the phrase I always repeat, 'It's not the fame, it's the name,' " Wattenberg says.

It's difficult to pinpoint the precise degree of "Twilight's" influence on the more than 4 million baby names chosen annually in the U.S., in part because Meyer chose names for her characters that were either already high on the hot list (Jacob), rising (Bella, Alice, Jasper, Emmett) or related to those that were. Isabella was already a Top 10 girls' name in 2005, and Bella was at No. 208 and rising at a nice clip.

Cullen was at No. 727 in 2005 and falling, but using last names as first names was already a powerful trend. Emmett, at No. 594 but rising in 2005, is now at No. 332.

"Most of those names were ready stylistically for the public -- or rather the public was ready for them," Wattenberg says.

Still, there are exceptions:

"If you want (to find) the really hard-core "Twilight" fans who were really inspired by the book and not just the name, there were 17 baby girls last year named Renesme (pronounced Ruh-NEZ-may)," Wattenberg notes.

"That's not a name that you say, 'Oh, yeah, I've always liked that name.' "
The same might be said for Carlisle, chosen for precisely zero U.S. boys in 2005. In 2009, 12 got the name.

The reasons Carlisle might not be as hot a name as, say, Cullen, are complex. But Cullen fits several modern trends, including the popularity of boys' names that end in "en" (Jayden, Aiden). Carlisle may sound feminine to an American ear and contains consonants unseparated by vowels (think Gertrude) -- a negative for modern parents.

Some experts say there's a psychological incentive to give your kid a name associated with a major pop culture phenomenon.

Parents "find a book, they find a movie, they find something that they're enthralled with, that they're engaged in and love, and at the same time, they're going on their own new adventure (having a baby). So the two have a correlation" in their minds, says Lesley Bolton, author of "The Complete Book of Baby Names" (Sourcebooks, $12.95).

Wattenberg sees "Twilight" less as a touchstone for parents and more as a delivery system for some very stylish names.

"Name ideas have to come from somewhere, and when a name is presented to a million people at once, if it's a name that fits current styles and sounds good to parents, it becomes a hit," Wattenberg says.

That helps explain what happened in 1964, when a nice young witch named Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) first twitched her nose on TV in "Bewitched."

Samantha, a name that didn't even appear on the top-1,000 list in 1963, shot up to No. 472. By 1972 it was at No. 137. Tabitha, the name of Samantha's daughter, did even better, coming out of nowhere to crack the top-300 list by 1969.

Tabitha has since gone into decline, but Samantha proved a powerhouse. Today, it's the No. 15 girls' name in America, beating out Bella, Cullen, Jasper, Alice and Emmett -- combined.

::Team Twilight:: Fan Fiction Friday

I know you’ve been waiting all week, but now the wait is over. Fan Fiction Friday is finally upon us so gather round and I’ll tell you what you need to know. I’ve been told that Lab Tech Andi’s dealing some pretty tasty treats this week. So, walk swiftly to the blue door at the back of the shack, knock the beats of Frank Sinatra’s "Come Fly With Me" and the password is “Happy Places”. Be Safe!

What a busy week. Emmett and Rosalie came back with a whole truck load of authors, so it was time for me to do what I came here to do, find something good. I spent the entire weekend getting all the authors hooked up, organized, and tucked away; trying to make the results of my experiments just a little bit easier to sift through. However, my adopted vampire family had other plans.

As I unlocked the door to the lab the next morning, I was suddenly assaulted by Calypso music and what was all over my floor? Is that sand? "WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON IN HERE?" I yelled over the music. One quick scan of the room told me exactly who my midnight decorators were; I hung my head as I closed the door, softly banging my head into the door frame.

The Lab had been completely transformed into a Caribbean tiki bar. There was a huge, floor-to-ceiling fish tank along one wall; paper lanterns hung all over the ceiling. One corner of the room housed a brand new bamboo bar complete with a mock thatched roof and a smiling Jasper, who was mixing drink behind it for my authors who were sidled up to it. As I raised my head and rolled my eyes, Alice put a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Now, it's just like a vacation for them," she told me as she waved her hand towards the dancing and drinking authors.

"Alice," I sighed, "but now they'll get nothing done." I went to put my stuff away and then turned to her. "If I'm going to get any of these authors to produce anything worth while, all this," I waved my hand around, "has to go."

"Don't you like any of it, Andi? The authors are all so happy, don't we want them to be happy?" she asked in a pleading tone, nodding her head as if trying to get me to agree with her.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "Leave the fish tank and the sound system; remove everything else and please do it quickly. I'm going to have to get these authors sobered up before I can get started." I explained. Then I quickly set to work gathering all the authors back up again.

Alice stood before me with a slight pout on her beautiful pixie face, "I really thought you'd like it, but I guess I was paying too close attention to the authors."

I hugged her tight and kissed her cheek, "its okay, I really do like the fish tank and the music will be relaxing too. Thank you, for those."

At that her face brightens and she looked at me, "Okay, we'll get all this cleaned up and be out of your hair in no time. Hmmm... Hey Jasper?" she asked in his direction.

"Yes'm," he responded to her, lifting his head.

"Want to spend a week at Isle Esme? School will be starting soon and we won't have another chance." she nearly sang the question to him then started bouncing and clapping her hands even before he got the words out.

He laughed at the sight of her then said, "I'd love to."

"Then let's get this cleaned up and get out of here. We still have to ask Carlisle even if I do already know his answer." she said to him peering through her lashes. Then I stood back and watched as the flurry of deconstruction began.

Two hours later and my authors were at least sobering up where they needed to be and Alice and Jasper both kissed me on the cheek and flashed out the door, presumably to be some place tropical.

As the silence of the lab returned, I sat gazing at my new wall of marine life and pondered the idea of being somewhere tropical or even maybe going some where snow covered; curling up with a good book and a wonderful drink. Then I walked to the sound system and with the volume low, turned on the Caribbean music and let it sweep me away while my authors were recovering.

Here are my deals for the week, regardless of the weather in each adventure, they are all steamy hot and very lemony.

The first is called "Never Sleep in a Strange Man's Bed" by WndrngY. In this tale Bella takes a vacation to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to meet Alice's new boyfriend, Jasper. Rosalie and Emmett come along, too, making Bella feel even more like a fifth wheel. With Jasper's roommate out of town, Bella has his nice big bed all to herself. Until Edward comes home in the middle of the night... hmmm. Currently, this story stands at 32 chapters and isn’t complete yet. It’s getting close though and with a southern Edward that has sexy coming out of every pore, it’s one you’ll want to catch-up on.

My second deal is called "Tides of Fate" by SparklingTwilight620. This tale is complete with 37 amazing chapters and a series of epilogues that will blow you away. It begins with Alice and Rosalie dragging best friend Bella along on a tropical vacation, after two years of depressed seclusion from a bad relationship. But all it takes is one night, a tiki bar, and a damn hot bartender to change her outlook on the whole trip. The characters are wonderfully written and there are a few that will surprise you.

My last offering, just in case the heat is getting to ya, is called "Snowed In" by eclipsedawn. In this story, Bella travels to Alaska to vacation in the cabin her friend Alice loaned her. It doesn’t take long for her to figure out she's not the only one staying at the cabin. The author claims that this story is unfinished, at its 29 chapters, but it’s so complete the way it is, I can’t imagine what else they would add to it. By the way, this Edward could warm me up anytime.

To go along with the fic-cations I’m offering up, here’s a little something you’ll all want to have, just to take you to your happy place.

Sex with the Bartender

1/2 shot coconut rum
1/2 shot triple sec
1/2 shot lime juice
1 splash grenadine syrup
fill with 7-Up® soda
1 splash Irish cream

In a Highball Glass, Mix rum, triple sec, lime juice, grenadine and 7-up. Garnish with lemon and lime, then splash irish cream down the middle.

Until next week, I’ll be trying to keep my authors in their happy places, so I can dream away in mine. Tweet (FanFicDealer), Message, or email ( if you want to talk shop.

The deal has been made. ;)

Team Emmett:: "I was supposed to be in The Expendables'

I would have loved to have seen Kellan in a action film! And so would Kellan but it was shooting at the same time as New Moon, he said

“I auditioned for it and I got the role, but the scheduling didn’t work out with New Moon. And I was just like, ‘What a bummer.’ If the name ‘Kellan’ would have been up there with them, I would have died happy.”

So i guess we will have to just be happy with the pictures from the premier last night! Im loving scruffy Kellan ;)

::TEAM BREAKING DAWN:: Why 2 Years for Breaking Dawn 2

It appears the summer release experiment for "The Twilight Saga" was not as successful as Summit Entertainment had hoped. The studio announced today that "Breaking Dawn, Pt. 2" will be released on Nov. 16, 2012. That's a full year after the debut of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Pt. 1" on Nov. 18, 2011.

After releasing both "Twilight" and "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" in November of 2008 and 2009, Summit made the seemingly smart move of moving "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" to a June 30, 2010 release date. This was because of both fervent interest from the franchise's fanbase and the expectation that opening in the summer would allow for a larger gross due to the fact many teenagers would be out of school and able to see the film numerous times during the work week. Instead, "Eclipse" has grossed less than the previous chapter, "New Moon," with only $288.1 million domestic and a total of $644.8 million worldwide so far. "New Moon" ended up with $296 million domestic and $709 million worldwide and it's hard to see "Eclipse" matching that total as its grosses have slowed considerably. Considering "Eclipse" received universally better reviews than the previous two chapters and was the most action packed (i.e., male friendly) of the series this has to be something of a disappointment for Summit. Granted, there is no need to shed any tears as the studio and series creator Stephenie Meyer are still swimming in profits as the picture only cost $65 million.

In hindsight, however, the shouldn't have come as that much of a shock even if it seems to go against conventional wisdom. The "Harry Potter" series has also released a number of chapters during the summer months and found mixed results. After the first two installments debuted in Nov. of 2001 and 2002 respectively, 2004's "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" debuted in June and is actually the worst performing picture in the franchise with just $249.4 million. "The Order of the Phoenix" and "The Half-Blood Prince" have performed much better with their July releases, but some of that can be credited to increased ticket prices as well as IMAX ticket costs. It's somewhat telling "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1" will open in Nov. of this year.

As for "Breaking Dawn," production is expected to begin this Nov. with shooting split between Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver, British Colubmia. Oscar winner Bill Condon is at the helm and the entire cast will return including the trifecta of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart.

::TEAM BREAKING DAWN:: Breaking Dawn 2 Release Date Revealed!!!

::TEAM BREAKING DAWN:: Paperback Edition of Breaking Dawn Released Today

The paperback version of Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn has now officially been released.

The 768 page novel was released in October, 2008 in hardcover edition, and it still rests highly on USA Today's Bestseller list, having been in the top 150 for 104 weeks (two years!).

Breaking Dawn is the fourth book of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, of course, and it serves as the conclusion to Bella and Edward's journey throughout the Saga. It is the longest of the four, and it also boasts the most characters.

According to Amazon, the paperback edition of Breaking Dawn will include the following:

■An exclusive Breaking Dawn concert series DVD, featuring a performance by Blue October's Justin Furstenfeld and a conversation between Stephenie Meyer and Justin Furstenfeld.

■A reproduction of the personal, handwritten lyrics for My Never by Justin Furstenfeld.

■A limited-edition, full-color Bella & Edward poster (on reverse side of book jacket).

Blue October's Justin Furstenfeld toured with Stephenie Meyer during the Breaking Dawn hardcover edition release festivities in 2008.

Team Edward:: R-Pants

YAY! My first bit of UK news!...

Get a load of this! There creating a line of mens underware and there dubbed the 'R-pant' after Rob!

The article reads;

Dubbed the R-Pant, the new line of men's low-rise briefs and trunks is
designed to be worn under skinny jeans and trousers - a look which has been
made popular by the likes of Pattinson and Russell Brand.

Richard Beale, head of merchandising at the store, told The Guardian:
"Over the last three years we've seen an increase in the popularity of hipsters.
The new range is designed to appeal to a young, fashion-savvy customer."

Pattinson was recently spotted in Marks and Spencers shopping for
underwear with a friend but will not be starring in the advertising

The new slim-fit underwear range will go on sale in September.

I think they should maybe send him some to trial or something! :)

::Team Emmett:: Kellan Lutz is taking ‘breathing time’

Yes, please get as much down time as you can Kellan!!!

Check out this cute little article and video of our one and only Kellan Lutz!!!

"Kellan Lutz has been a very busy up and coming actor. Since The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, he's had roles in four films including Immortals with Mickey Rourke. So it's understandable why he'd need a "me time" before going off to shoot the final two films of The Twilight Saga."
