::Team Twilight:: "Starve A Vampire, Give Blood"
We the Twilight fans have united to help in times of need. In response to the crisis in Haiti, as well as helping raise money for Twilight Fandom Gives Back, a campaign started by the wonderful Fanfiction writers to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, a non-profit organization raising money for children with Cancer. Now, The Twilight Fandom is uniting with other Vampire Fans to call on everyone to donate blood. The Red Cross is in crisis with a shortage of blood. We across the U.S.A. are being called upon as a fandom to show our support and our strength.
Twilight, True Blood and Vampire Diaries' fans are being called out to "Starve A Vampire, Give Blood". The campaign will run from March 1st-14th. You can either give blood on this day or make an appointment to give blood. Shelf life for Blood is only 42 days, so spreading this campaign out seems to be a right choice. The Red Cross has stated that O- blood is highly needed.
To learn more about blood donation opportunities, visit www.redcrossblood.org/ or

::Team Jasper:: New poster for 'The Last Airbender' featuring Jackson Rathbone
Jackson Rathbone is featured in the latest poster for the movie The Last Airbender, hitting theaters summer 2010.
This is the plot outline for the film from The official The Last Airbender Page on Facebook : Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.
Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

::Team Emmett:: Kellan Lutz in his "Tighty Whities". Could life get any better than this?
Kellan Lutz has been chosen to be the next face or better yet, the new body for Calvin Klein's new line of men's underwear, Calvin Kein X. He will be following in the footsteps of former Calvin models Mark Wahlberg and Djimon Hounsou.
“I started out modeling so this is the pinnacle,” Lutz tells People Magazine of the Spring 2010 campaign. “What more can you do than be on a billboard for something that you grew up thinking was super sexy and classy? It’s really prestigious and I love it.”
People asked if he was anxious about stripping down to his skivvies and Kellan's response was, “With modeling, there are guys who do the Zoolander thing and it shows off as desperation, You just have to have confidence, kick back and have fun with it.”
When asked about his sex symbol image, Kellan says, “I don’t see myself as perfect. I never will be and I never want to be, I’m not the good-looking guy with the nice hair like [Twilight co-star] Robert Pattinson. I enjoy being not so pretty.”
The new ads will begin to come out in March and will be in magazines, TV and billboards. I can't wait to be driving down the highway and catch my first glimpse of Kellan on a 20 foot billboard. I can hear all the cars screeching to a halt already!

::Team Twilight:: Muse: 'Twilight Films Have Helped Us Break America'
Muse believe their appearance on the soundtrack to The Twilight Saga films has helped them win fans in America.
The band have contributed songs to the opening two films in the popular vampire franchise, including the recent hit New Moon.
Speaking to Asia One, bassist Chris Wolstenholme said the group were originally unaware about The Twilight Saga's cult following.
"I was vaguely aware of the books (before author Stephenie Meyer approached us) but we didn't think anything of it at the time,” he said.
"The next thing you know, it's Twilight fever. It's good because it has made a difference for us in trying to break into America."
Muse's audiences in the US have continued to grow in recent years and the band are due to return for six dates, starting next month.
The jaunt includes a gig at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 5.

::Team Edward:: Rob's New Leading Lady Revealed.
Robert Pattinson's new co-star has been announced and she has already worked with his Twilight co-star Jackson Rathbone. Jealous? Us. Yes!
Nicola Peltz is the lucky lady in question and recently starred in M Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender.
Gossip Cop has revealed the 15-year-old actress has been cast in Unbound Captives which will star Rpatz, the gorgeous Hugh Jackman and the lovely Rachel Weitz. According to IMdB, the film is due to start filming early this year.
M Night Shyamalan has given the young actress the thumbs up, telling People.com: "I told the studio I didn't want to make this movie without her. I said that only once before in my career, and that was when I met Haley [Joel Osment] in the Sixth Sense auditions." High praise indeed.
We can't wait to see her and Robert in action!

::Team Eclipse:: Insiders already saying Eclipse will fail. (DOUBT IT!)
Release Date: June 30
Studio: Summit Entertainment
Genre: Romantic Fantasy
Director: David Slade
Writer: Melissa Rosenberg (based on the novel by Stephanie Meyer)
Cast: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Gil Birmingham, Dakota Fanning, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard
Studio Description: As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella (Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.
Analysis: After Twilight, the first entry in The Twilight Saga before the franchise was called "The Twilight Saga," became a box office sensation in 2008, ultimately grossing $192.8 million, its sequel, New Moon, was dubbed one of the most-anticipated movies of 2009. It did not disappoint, drawing massive crowds out of the gate and finishing the year with nearly $290 million and counting. While the first two movies had pre-Thanksgiving launches, the third, Eclipse, has been aligned with the Independence Day holiday, in part, because the next Harry Potter reclaimed that series' historical pre-Thanksgiving slot. Eclipse is scheduled for Wednesday, June 30, or only seven months after New Moon.
Odds are that Eclipse won't reach the heights of New Moon, given the history of closely-timed, serialized sequels. The Matrix Revolutions, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and even Back to the Future Part III all grossed significantly less than their predecessors. When a second movie is hotly-anticipated after the first movie's success, it's highly unlikely that the next picture will even maintain the momentum (The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter being notable exceptions), and signs from New Moon's run suggest that The Twilight Saga will follow the pattern. New Moon had one of the biggest openings of all time, was extremely front-loaded and probably wasn't as well-liked as the first Twilight: Box Office Mojo readers gave it a "C+," compared to the first movie's "B." Also, the vampire fad could show fatigue by the summer, given the flood of vampire-themed TV shows, movies and paraphernalia in the market.
However, it would be silly to bet against Eclipse's chances at being a big box office draw in its own right. The Twilight brand is so strong right now that even a massive drop-off would mean a near blockbuster run for Eclipse, there are few other offerings this summer that will be as attractive to younger females, and there's always the possibility that it pulls a Harry Potter in terms of longevity. With no trailer available at publication time, it remains to be seen how Summit will up the ante in its marketing campaign.
