::Team Edward:: Rob to present from London Hope For Haiti This Friday

Great news! The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson has been confirmed, according to E! Online, as a host for a London-based branch of the Hope for Haiti telethon on Friday!
George Clooney and Wyclef Jean joined together to organize the campaign, which now features a very all-star line-up of celebrity volunteers, for relief of victims of Haiti's recent earthquake.
Of course, you'll remember that Robert Pattinson's fans help to spearhead some social media efforts being put forth, and, also, Robert Pattinson's Twilight castmates were actively using Twitter to provide information on how to chip in.
Now, it seems, Pattinson will be answering a few London calls to raise money for the cause.
"As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z and Bono," says E! Online's Marc Malkin. "No word yet on Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, but ... Hollywood's hottest vampire movie trio is a very wanted group for the telethon because of the impact they would have with young people." Too true.
How about that?!
UPDATE: Here are a few more details about the telethon, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly: "Clooney’s rep says the telethon is now set to air on all of the MTV channels worldwide, along with ABC, NBC, HBO, and CNN. The show will air 8-10 p.m. ET."
